Target Audience

All users of VDUs but especially those who use VDUs for longer than half their normal working day.

Course Objectives

Recognise the potential Health and Safety discomforts associated with the long term use of visual displays
Recognise the onset of potential discomforts before they become serious
Take appropriate measures to avoid discomfort and prevent long term problems


Presentation, discussion in small and large groups, exercises and individual assessment at mock workstation.

Important notes

Assessment can additionally be carried out at participants' usual workstation within the work environment.  Further details will be supplied on request.
