Target Audience

Anyone wishing to develop minute taking skills.

Course Objectives

Understand what common problems exist for minute takers
Create an efficient working relationship with the Chair
Understand the purpose of minutes
Write clear and accurate minutes for use by their readers


Interactive presentation by course leader, small - and large - group work, exercises and practical activities.

Important notes

There will be short practical exercises throughout the course for participants to practise listening, note taking and minute writing.
This course can also be developed for "note takers" at meetings where formal minutes are not required.  See Related Courses.
